Activate the Free Trial License for URL/IP Reputation Service
URL Reputation is a security service that evaluates websites and categorizes them based on their trustworthiness. Vigor Routers provide a complimentary 30-day trial license for the URL/IP Reputation Service, allowing network administrators to enforce web access policies based on website categories.

This article explains how to activate and use the 30-day trial license for the URL/IP Reputation Service.
Activation Steps
- Log in to your Vigor Router’s Web User Interface and click Product Registration. You will be redirected to the MyVigor portal login page. Enter your MyVigor account credentials to log in.
- After logging in, you will be directed to the VigorRouter Service Status page. Click Activate License.
- After clicking Activate License, MyVigor will display the License Agreement. Please read it and click Accept.
- Select the Activate Date and click Next.
- Please confirm the license information and click Activate.
- Once the website displays the confirmation, the license has been successfully activated.
Troubleshooting
Note: If you cannot click Activate License after logging in, it may be caused by the following:
- You did not log in to MyVigor via the Vigor Router’s Web User Interface.
- The Vigor Router is not bound to your MyVigor account.
If the problem persists, please provide the router's serial number and your MyVigor account details to us by emailing [email protected].
If you are unable to complete the activation process, it might be because the DNS server cannot correctly resolve the MyVigor server domain. You can verify this by performing a ping test: go to Diagnostics >> Ping Diagnosis on the router and ping the domain name myvigor.draytek.com. If the router does not receive replies, try changing its DNS server configuration to a public one (e.g., 8.8.8.8) and then attempt to activate the license again.
