DrayTek release new firmware of Vigor130, Vigor2830 series and Vigor2925 series

HSINCHU, Taiwan DrayTek Corp. (TSE:6216), a Taiwan-based networking solutions provider, today announces to release new firmware of Vigor130 VDSL2 modem, Vigor2830 series ADSL2/2+ highly-integrated service routers, Vigor2925 series Dual Gigabit WAN routers for the Cloud-connected world. The VLAN setting for Vigor130 will give users with more flexibility.  The implementation of more IPv6 connection type, LAN DNS Resolution, LAN new route policy, LAN subnets access control and more updated supported USB mobile on Vigor2830 series routers.

The LAN DNS let network administrators host servers with privacy and security. When network administrators of your office set up FTP or Mail or Web server inside LAN, you can specify specific private IP address to correspondent servers. Even remote PC is adopting public DNS as DNS server, the LAN DNS resolution on Vigor2830 series will respond the specified private IP address.

 

The Vigor2925 series routers are IPv6 Ready.  The f/w 3.7.3 of Vigor2925 and Vigor2925n let your IPv6 connection type additionally work with  "6rd" and "6in4 Static Tunnel". The enhancement of f/w 3.7.3 is equipped with "Time Quota" and "Data Quota" for User Management. The Vigor2925n is with up to 20-clients AP Management for establishment of more VigorAP 800 WLAN Access Points for your office network. The "external device" function on Vigor2925n is enhanced with "operation mode  setting for AP / Universal Repeater".  The DNS filter is available on F/W 3.7.3. You can set WCF rule along with DNS filter. The USB mobile support list will be updated with Infinity IW-021 and ADU 500.
