Do I need a VPN client software for remote dial-in VPN ?
No, you don't need spend extra cost to buy VPN client for
connection to Vigor router, because we support the PPTP, L2TP,
and L2TP over IPSec which are already built in the most of
the Microsoft operating system.
For Win98/ME, you may use "Dial-up Networking" to create the
PPTP tunnel to Vigor router.
For Win2000/XP, please use "Network and Dial-up connections"
or "Smart VPN dial-up Connection Management" VPN tool to help
you create PPTP, L2TP, and L2TP over IPSec tunnel with Vigor
routers. |
