What is AH and ESP ?
These two protocols are used for tunneled data in IPSec. The
Authentication Header ( AH ) protocol provides
authentication and optional replay-detection services but
neither data encryption nor decryption services is implemented.
The Encapsulating Security Payload ( ESP )
protocol provides data confidentiality and protection with
optional authentication and replay-detection services. |
