Q.
How do I install my BT Voyager USB ADSL modem into Vigor2200
USB?
Please follow the procedures
below.
1. Please upgrade your router's firmware and router tools
to the latest edition. You may refer to this following link:
Ways for firmware
upgrade to get more information.
2. Please download the voyager.cfg.
3. From the router tools in the program group, utilize "DSL
USB Modem Firmware Installer" to load the voyager.cfg file.
a. Click to open the "USB Driver Install"
utility from Start/Programs/Router Tools/ USB Driver
Install.
b. Select the "Voyager DSL USB modem " as
DSL USB Modem and press the "GO" button.
c. Select the "Load" button and next select
the voyager.cfg file.
d. And next please select the argent router
and click the "Install" button.
e. The voyager.cfg file is being loaded into
the router.
f. At this stage, the voyager.cfg file is
successfully load into Vigor.
4. Open the router's web configurator to configure the DSL
Modem settings as shown below.
a. Click the "Auto detect ATM/DSL settings"
button from Main Menu -› Quick Setup -›
Internet Access Setup then Vigor2200 USB will automatically
select the parameters for DSL connection, e.g. VCI/VPI.
b. Please input your username and password
from Main Menu -› Quick Setup -› Internet
Access Setup -› PPPoE/PPPoA Client Mode.
5. Now you may test to dial up the DSL connection via this
following link Main Menu -› System Management
-› Diagnostic Tools -› PPPoE/PPPoA Diagnostics.
Then you should be able to access the Internet successfully. |
