Q. What is QoS ?

Quality of Service ( QoS ) refers to both the capability of a network to deliver data with minimum delay and the networking methods used to provide bandwidth for real-time multimedia applications.

Draytek QoS function enables users to control the traffic flowing by ports or hosts. The traffic through router will be classified into four transmission classes. Each class has its own priority, reserved_bandwidth ratio and users can define the first three class for their requirements. e.g. to give higher priority for some delay-sensitive applications, to reserve the bandwidth usage of Voice and so on.
