Q. Which IM, VoIP and P2P software can Vigor Router CSM block ?

Introduction:

Vigor Dual WAN Router (for example, Vigor2910, Vigor2950, VigorPro5500, etc) support CSM (Content Security Management) for IM/P2P Application. There are some differences between the mechanism of Vigor Router CSM and IP filter rules. IP filter rules only can block a few of IM software based on IP address and ports. But if some IM software has many login servers or ports, it will be very inconvenient for the users to configure IP filter rules to block them. Vigor Router CSM can block many IM, VoIP and P2P software based on characteristic code. And the method is very easy and effective. You may go to the page of "Objects Setting >> CSM Profile" to configure CSM Profile.
