How do I reset/clear the router's password ?
On the Vigor2000 router, to reset the password you need to
connect a PC to the RS232c console port and select the 'Change
Password' option from the menu.
On the Vigor2200 or later products, you may clear the password
by doing a hardware reset. This will clear All router settings
back to their factory default so you will then have to reconfigure
the router from scratch. To this , press the RESET button
on the rear of the router gently with a ball point pen and
hold it until the LEDs start flashing, then release the button.
The router will then be accessible on its default IP address
(192.168.1.1). |
