a. For Remote Dial-in Sever( Vigor router ) Settings:
1. On Vigor's Web configuration page, click VPN and Remote
Access Setup -> Remote Dial-In User Setup. Then click the
Index to setup the Remote Dial-In User Account.
2. a. Select "Enable this account".
b. Set the Idle Timeout as 0 to retain this
tunnel till terminated by the remote site. c.
Enable the IPSec Tunnel. d. Type the
Peer ID(you may use IP address, email, or a string as Peer
ID) e. Type the IKE Pre-Shared Key
f. Enable the IPSec Security Method.
Now this specified user can dial into Vigor router.
3. When the user successfully dials in, you can see the connection
status in System Management -> VPN Connection Management.
b. Netscreen Remote VPN Client settings:
1. Add a new Connection via Options. On
Connection Security,please select "Secure".
On Remote Party Identity and Addressing,
please select IP Subnet and type the remote Subnet and Mask.
Select IP Address as ID Type and type the
remote IP address.
2. Click the Security Policy and select "Aggressive Mode"
on Select Phase 1 negotiation Mode.
3. Select None on Select Certificate field and click Pre-Share
Key button to type the pre-shared key. Select
E-mail Address on ID Type and type the ID. Select
Internet Interface.
4. Click the Proposal 1 of Phase 1 and select the Pre-Shared
Key as Authentication Method. Select
Encryption and Data Integrity Algorithms.
5. Click Proposal 1 of Phase 2 and enable ESP or AH. Save
this profile.
6. Right click the Netscreen indicator in the tray and click
the connect to establish this VPN tunnel.
