MacOSX10.4.7 to Vigor Router
a. Remote Dial-in Server ( Vigor Router ) settings
1. In Vigor's web configuration page, click VPN and Remote
Access setup -> Remote Dial-in Users Setup. Then click
the Index to setup the Remote Dial-in User Account.
2. Type in the username and password for this remote Dial-inuser,
then click OK. Now this specified user can dial-in to
Vigor router now.
3. When the user successfully dials in, you may see.
b. Client Settings :
1. Create a New VPN Connection by selecting " Internet
Connect ->File -> New VPN Connection ".
2. Select the type of VPN tunnel that you want to establish VPN connection.
PPTP model:
1. Type the VPN Server address, User name and Password, then click Connect.
2. When the VPN connection is established, it will show the status as below.
L2TP over IPsec model:
1. Select "Edit Configuration" via Configuration.
2. Type the VPN Server address, User name, Password, and Shared Secret.
3. When the VPN connection is established, it will show the status as below.
