SJphone provides easy-used interface for customer dialing IP calls directly and SIP calls via SIP
proxy server. Here are the steps for configuring SJphone to make calls to Vigor VoIP Router.
• make a call by dial IP directly
* Vigor VoIP router do not need
to set any setting in this scenario.
1. Start SJphone and press 'Options' to configure.
2. Press 'New" to create new profile.
3. Select ' Direct SIP Calls' profile and input the name.
4. Then you can make a direct SIP call by dialing the IP of Vigor VoIP Router now.
• make a call via SIP proxy
* Vigor VoIP Router need to register to the SIP proxy server in this scenario. Please setup SIP
related settings via Router Web Configurator -› VoIP Setup -› SIP Related Functions Setup.
Then please telnet into Vigor, type ' voip sip registrar
' to ensure the register to SIP server is successful.
1. Create a new 'Call through SIP Proxy'
profile and input the name.
2. Input Proxy domain, used port and user domain via Profiles tab.
3. There will be a window popped up, please input the account and password.
4. Wait till the SJphone panel shows 'registered as sip : xxxx@xxxxx'.
5. Then add a new Entry via Phonebook.
6. Select the entry and press 'Call' to dial to Vigor.
