-Description-

When 2B channels of the ISDN connection are used to access Internet, neither outgoing nor incoming phone and fax are possible. “CallBumping”maybe used to relieve the issue.

-Explanation-

While 2B channels are occupied by data link and if an additionally either incoming or outgoing call is necessary, “CallBumping”will automatically release a channel to be built as a new connection for the call temporarily. After the call is terminated, the Internet connection will be restored into 128K.

Please check the Call Bumping settings for isdnVigor128, miniVigor128, isdnVigor204 here.
First please contact your Internet service provider to ensure CallBumping service is provided. Next please select proper modem types according to the operation system used:

1. In MAC systems, the following three modem types maybe chosen: mini USB TA DrayMLPPP, mini USB TA DRAYPPP, and mini USB TA DynamicPPP.



2. In Microsoft Windows system, the following three modem types maybe chosen: DrayTek ISDN MLPPP, DrayTek ISDN DrayPPP and DrayTek ISDN DynmicMLPPP.
