Bandwidth On Demand (B.O.D.) is a mechanism to decide the number of channels used when dialing up to the Internet. If network speed is a concern ( e.g. downloading files), then two channels maybe utilized. On the other hand, only one channel maybe used if costs should be minimized.

In general, there are two approached to use the B.O.D. mechanism:

  1. Manually by the taskbar's icon / utility.

  2. Automatically by the preset configuration depending upon the network flow capacity.
