Vigor3100 series can be installed on different campus buildings by connecting with existing telephony wires for the enterprise campus applications. It can enable high-speed symmetrical intranet access between campus buildings for each other. Such application does not require new infrastructure, but it only need low-cost, easy-to-install and low management on overhead.

Back-to-Back Application

The G.SHDSL is a solution for SDSL ( Symmetrical DSL ) which provides same transmission rate up to 2.3 Mbps in one pair for uploads and downloads. For business hosting web, ftp other servers, SDSL is an appropriate solution than others. It can give customers a fast and efficient connection to specified servers, and provide good performance by comparing with leased lines (T1/E1) connectivity with a lower cost.

VPN Application

In general, the enterprise emphasizes the security of corporate network. With sophistic VPN firewall feature, Vigor3100 series provide 32 dedicated virtual private data networks tunneling through public Internet and allow remote users connecting to headquarters easily and safely. All the data transmitted can be well encrypted with the hardware-based DES/3DES engine. Therefore, Vigor3100 series can resist any snooping without degrading the performance while enabling VPN function.

3G Application

DrayTek supports 3G HSDPA USB Modem via USB port of Vigor3100 series from firmware version V2.8 and above. It is a good application for the mobile sharing environment.
